Anna Barbary

Founder and President

Anna is the owner of the digital marketing agency Civic Shift Agency, where she guides civic organizations worldwide through the digital landscape. In her spare time, she enjoys agriculture and natural living. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.


Fun facts

  • Anna is a Rotarian who truly believes in the motto, “Service Above Self.”
  • Her favorite vegetable to grow is Okra
  • She's Berber-American, with a love for Moroccan cuisine

Kari Blandford

Vice President

Kari is a wife, mother, and homesteader of 27 years who grew from a lifelong gardener and nursery owner into a full-scale homesteader with a 1,600-square-foot garden, orchard, and diverse livestock, including endangered Blue Slate Turkeys. She is passionate about food preservation and handcrafted homestead products which she sells online and at Sugar Bear’s Antique Mall.

Patrice is a retired banker with over 35 years of banking experience, 23 years of which was managerial experience. When she is not gardening, she is enjoying time with her friends and family.
